Militants shelled 30 times in Anti-Terrorist Operation area in Donbas during the past 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier got killed, one got injured. This was reported by the ATO headquarters press center in Facebook.

“Around 17:00 and 23:00 pm in Donetsk area, the enemy shelled from Kalynove Ukrainian positions in Troitske from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and IFV. At the same time, militants used 120 and 82 mm mortars forbidden by Minsk agreement. In response ATO forces opened fire from small arms and grenade launchers. Also, in this area at around 18:00 and 23:00 pm illegal armed forces shelled our positions in Avdiivka,” the message says.

It was also tense in Mariupol area, the headquarters said. Militants opened fire on Berezove and Novomykhaylivka villages from mortars of 82 mm caliber. Krasnohorivka, Talakivka, Vodyane, Hnutove and Pavlopil were shelled from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. And at about 21:00, Ukrainian soldier was injured as a result of shelling from 82-mm mortar of one of our positions in Mariinka,.

“In the evening, the enemy once again deliberately fired on the residential quarters of Mariinka from mortars and machine guns, which led to the fire and destruction of civil buildings,” the HQ reported.

In Luhansk area, after 18:00, militants attacked Novozvanivka three times from small arms and grenade launchers. And at 21.00 they fired 5 mines of 120 mm caliber in Stanytsia Luhanska.

As it was reported earlier militants attacked 7 times in Donbas, one soldier has died. Illegal military formations used the forbidden armament.
