Situation in ATO zone remains tense. Russia-backed occupation forces are provoking Ukrainian Armed Forces once again, using heavy artillery. 48 ceasefire violations were reported over past day. Seven Ukrainian servicemen got wounded as a results of hostilities during the last 24 hours. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, illegal armed groups attacked Ukrainian defenders 12 times. Enemy used 120 mm mortars to attack strongholds near Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. 82 mm mortars were fired at positions near Krasnohorivka. Bandits also systematically fired grenade launchers and small arms there.
In Donetsk direction, enemy violated ceasefire regime 22 times over the past day. Situation in Avdiivka remains the most troubled. Militants fired 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types and small arms at ATO forces there. 120 mm mortars were used to attack Ukrainian positions near Nevelske. Beyond that, positions near Verkhnyotoretske suffered fire from mortars of various calibers, IFV weaponry and small arms. Illegal armed groups attacked Luhanske near Svitlodarsk arc using 82 mm mortars and tripod-mounted man-portable antitank gun. Automatic mounted grenade launchers were used to attack strongholds near Pisky.
In Luhansk direction, 14 shelling were recorded. Militants also used artillery with more than 100 mm caliber there. Thus, Ukrainian positions near Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka and Troitske were shelled with 120 mm mortars. Enemy used mortars of smaller caliber, 82 mm, as well as anti-tank missile complex and grenade launchers to attack Ukrainian defenders near Krymske.
