The militants have not violated the ceasefire in Donbas since the beginning of the day. This was reported by the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on its Facebook page.
“Since the beginning of this day, there were no attacks on of the positions of the Joint Forces Operations. No casualties from the Ukrainian side are observed,” the message reads.
We recall that the ceasefire started in Donbas on July 21.
July 18, parties to the Minsk trilateral talks group agreed that the ceasefire would start in Donbas on July 21. The respective document bans all kinds of military activity in the area. Besides, the parties insisted on criminal responsibility for opening fire. The agreement was supposed to be timeless; however, the Russian invaders did not live up to it, as the attacks from their positions continued.
As it was reported earlier, 64 inmates were transferred from prisons in the occupied part of Luhansk region to Ukraine-controlled territory. The passage took place in tight cooperation with the Office of Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova; the men served time in detention centers in the temporarily occupied area of Luhansk region.
