As of 6 p.m., December 12, the illegal armed formations conducted seven attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone. The press office of the JFO headquarters reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that the militants used the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements twice over the day.
In particular, the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars at the positions of the Joint Forces near Krymkske and Chermalyk settlements.
‘The strongholds of our forces got under fire of grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms in the areas of settlements Avdiivka, Starohnativka and Taramchuk,’ the HQ reported.
No casualties among the personnel of the JFO were observed during the day. The situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone remains controlled by Ukrainian forces.
The previous day, December 11, the militants opened fire 11 times at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it led to the injure of two Ukrainian servicemen.
