"Since the beginning of the current day, on August 26, no shelling has been recorded in the areas of responsibility of our units," the message reads.
In addition, over the past day, sappers have cleared more than seven hectares of territory in the front-line area and handed over 134 found explosive objects for destruction.
Also, the headquarters noted that the cessation of hostilities in Donbas is being respected for one month (the militants do not use heavy weapons).
As we reported before, Volodymyr Rudyk, a senior lieutenant of the 14th separate brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, deceased in Donbas.
"The unit's command reports the tragic death of senior lieutenant Volodymyr Rudyk. According to the results of the preliminary official inspection, the soldier died as a result of careless handling of weaponry," the statement said.
