Donbas militants fired at the civilian infrastructure of Avdiivka. Criminal proceedings have been opened on this fact, according to the press service of the JFO headquarters.

"The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has been informed about the shelling. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact," the statement says.

The press service reported that the militants fired 120 mm mortars and 122 mm artillery, which were prohibited by the Minsk agreements. As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure objects of Avdiivka were damaged. There are no casualties among the local population

As reported, Ukrzaliznytsia was forced to restrict the movement of trains near the station Avdiivka due to artillery shelling from the territory not controlled by Ukraine. The company noted that the shelling began on the morning of August 28. Avdiivka station workers and passengers were evacuated to shelters.
