In Luhansk region, militants damaged a high-pressure gas pipeline near the village of Nyzhne during the shelling. As a result, more than 700 subscribers were left without gas supply, the Luhanskhaz press service reports.

"On November 7, 2021, at about 4 pm, during the shelling by enemy forces, a high-pressure gas distribution pipeline with a diameter of 100 mm near the village of Nyzhne was damaged, which led to a fire torch several meters high. Prompt closing of the valves allowed to eliminate the fire column and avoid a large-scale fire," the statement reads.

The press service added that 773 subscribers were left without gas supply in the settlements of Nizhne and Krymske. The pipeline is currently being inspected and the extent of its damage is being determined.

As it was reported, during the last days in Donbas fighters opened fire 14 times. As a result of hostilities, one soldier was killed and two others were wounded.

A blast has thundered in the occupied Luhansk on June 18, as the gas pipeline exploded and lit up.
