The situation in the Donbas conflict zone remains tense. The Russia-backed militants were actively using arms, caliber of which exceeds 100 mm, as the Ukrainian Army HQ reports.

In Donetsk sector, the terrorists used tank ammunition in an almost two-hour attack near Avdiivka, as well as fired ten 120-mm and thirteen 82-mm mines there. Avdiivka industrial zone was also attacked with different grenade launchers. Moreover, 120-mm mines were used by the militants near Pisky, while small arms – near Kamianka.

In Mariupol sector, the terrorists fired 82-mm mines at the Ukrainian Army positions near Talakivka, and grenades near Hnutove. Ukrainian soldiers near Maryinka were also attacked.

In Luhansk sector, the cease-fire was abided by.

Seven attacks on Ukrainian positions were reported in total from midnight to 6 pm. No casualties among Ukrainian soldiers occurred.
