On November 11, the checkpoints at the demarcation line in Luhansk and Donetsk regions have started their work. However, the militants do not admit people through Zolote and Shchastya checkpoints, as the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
“As of 10:00 a.m., the employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine processed: at Zolote checkpoint – a person and at Shchastya checkpoint – a person heading to the temporarily occupied territory; they were returned by the representatives of the occupation authority,” the message said.
Meanwhile, at Stanytsia Luhanska, the border guards processed 131 people for entry from the temporarily occupied territory and 66 people heading to occupied territories. At the Novotroitske checkpoint, five citizens and five vehicles were processed.
“At Hnutove, Mariinka, and Mayorske checkpoints, the citizens did not arrive to cross the demarcation line,” the message said.
As we reported, the partakers of the consultations at the Trilateral Contact Group agreed about the date of opening of two checkpoints – Zolote and Shchastya – on November 10.
However, the authorities of occupied districts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions stated that they would not open all entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas on November 10.
