Illegal armed groups in Donbas did not allow observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to the Donetsk Filtration Station. This was stated by the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC), Ukraine’s Army HQ press center reports.

"On January 16, the operation of the OSCE SMM on maintenance of a CCTV camera at Donetsk Filtration Station was thwarted by the militants. The OSCE mission did not receive security guarantees for carrying out these works from the illegal armed groups of Donbas, "the report said.

The Ukrainian side of the JCCC considers such actions as provocative and such that shows militants’ reluctance to contribute to the OSCE SMM obtaining objective information on ceasefire violation cases.

Earlier OSCE observers reported problems with access to mobile communication in Talove settlement, located in the occupied area of Luhansk region. The problems with the mobile network were first reported in the afternoon of January 11; militants of the so-called DPR said it was due to a sabotage act committed by Ukrainian troops. As of Monday morning, the communication in Talove is still down.'
