Russian-occupation forces created a fake account of the Anti-Terrorist Operation HQ spokesman Vasyl Labay in Facebook social network and spread false information about the course of the war. This was reported by Ukraine’s Army HQ press center in Facebook.

"The clone-account of the personal page of the representative of Donbas conflict headquarters Vasyl Labay was created by the Russian-occupation forces in Facebook. On his behalf, the occupants spread false information about the progress of the Anti-Terrorist Operation. The true information can be found on the website of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine and on the Facebook page of Ukraine’s Army HQ press center . We urge the public not to succumb to the provocations of the enemy, "the statement said.

As it was reported earlier as of November 2017, there are more than 35,500 armed militants in Donbas – both Russian regular troops and local volunteers who joined the illegal armed formations there. Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s minister for internal affairs said that during the security forum in Kyiv.

According to him, the HQ of these armed groups is based on that of the Eighth Army of the Russian Federation, located in Novocherkassk (Russia).
