The militants again blocked the renewal of the work of the checkpoints in Donbas as the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.

As of 11:00 a.m., June 15, the Ukrainian border guards processed five citizens to the territory of occupied Donbas through Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint.

“As of 12:15 p.m., the border guards provided the return of these citizens to the controlled territory as the occupants again blocked the movement in this direction,” the message said.

Besides, the State Border Guard Service noted that Mariinka checkpoint does not work due to the same reason.

“Mariinka checkpoint is not working still through the fault of the occupants who block all attempts of the citizens to cross the demarcation line,” the service underlined.

It is noted that during the previous weekend, 165 people processed to the controlled territory through Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoints and 136 people return backward, while four of them were not allowed to cross the checkpoints by militants.

As we reported, in the Joint Forces Operation zone, the militants did not admit the citizens to the occupied territory. About 100 pedestrians were waiting near Mariinka checkpoint.
