In Donbas, humanitarian entry-exit checkpoints are still blocked by the occupants. This was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
"None of the people have been able to cross the demarcation line since the resumption of the passage. Humanitarian road corridors remain blocked by the occupants," the statement said.
Today, as of 11:00, people who need to get to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine to solve problems of a social and humanitarian nature continue arriving at these checkpoints.
So, 2 cars and 10 pedestrians intend to cross Mariinka checkpoints, and there are more than 20 people at Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint.
As we reported earlier, today, on June 12, the Government of Ukraine has decided to resume the work of all entry-exit checkpoints on the administrative border with the annexed Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
"A number of consultations were held with the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, with representatives of the public and international organizations on the situation on the administrative border with Crimea. The result of the talks was a decision to resume the work of checkpoints starting from June 15," Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated.
