According to the Directorate General of Intelligence, the militants are carrying out additional mining along the line of contact in Donbas, even in the immediate proximity to settlements and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry.

The Ministry noted that the enemy used anti-tank and anti-personnel landmines, some of them are prohibited by international conventions, as well as improvised explosive devices.

According to data acquired by Ukrainian intelligence, a low level of training of fighters leads to an increase of losses, and six people have been blown up since the beginning of February due to the absence of minefield schemes and interaction between their units.
