Militants broke new cease-fire in Donbas, used grenade launchers and IFVs

It is noted that there are no losses among the Ukrainian soldiers

The militants broke the new cease-fire that started working this midnight, as spokesperson of the Ukrainian Army HQ Vasyl Labai told 112.

“Since the beginning of this day, when the Christmas and New Year cease-fire started working, and until 11:30 am, the cease-fire was abided by. After this, the Russian-terrorist forces attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Luhanske, on the Svitlodar curve. The armed provocations with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and IFV weapons were operated from the un-controlled by the Ukrainian government locality of Kalynivka,” he said,

Labai added that no losses among the Ukrainian soldiers occurred. He also noted that since the attack didn’t pose threat to lives of the Ukrainian soldiers, they didn’t open return fire.
