Militants shelled residential quarters in Zaitsevу, Donetsk region from 120 mm mortar shells banned by Minsk agreements. This is reported by the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Coordination and Control of the ceasefire in Donbas on Facebook.

The Ukrainian side of the Center for Coordination and Control informs that militants of the armed formations of Russia on Saturday at about 5:45 shelled the settlement of Zaitseve from 120 mm mortar shells. The enemy fired at civilians.

In particular, based on the results of the photo-recording conducted on May 19 by the observers of the Center mobile group, a direct hit of a mine into a private house and a private garden was reported.

As a result of the mine's hit, the roof of the house was destroyed, windows and walls were damaged. Fortunately, none of the local residents suffered.

Earlier Ukrainian soldier hoisted on an unidentified explosive device in Joint Forces Operation zone, as Dmytro Hutsulyak, Defence Ministry Speaker, said at the briefing in Defence Ministry, reports.

“As at 9:00 one of our soldiers was injured today. He hoisted on an unidentified explosive device, the details of the incident are being determined. His health condition is critical,” he stated.
