Situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense. Russia-backed occupants fired 81 times at Ukrainian positions over past day. Six Ukrainian military officers were reported wounded, two more got injured. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

Most of the attacks were recorded in Mariupol direction, where enemy used weapons banned by Minsk agreement. Enemy fired 122 mm artillery, machine guns and grenade launchers of various types at Vodiane and Chermalyk. Russia-backed occupation forces attacked Shyrokyne and Pavlopil with 120 mm mortars, also fired 82 mm mortars at Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Talakivka, Krasnohorivka. Enemy snipers were active near Novotroitkse, Shyrokyne and Vodiane. Militants fired anti-aircraft artillery ZU-23-2, shot from anti-tank missile complex at Krasnohorivka. Enemy tank also attacked Marinka.

In Donetsk direction, separatists were most active near Avdiivka, Novhorodske, Opytne and Troitske. Positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces were attacked with heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and 120 and 82 mm mortars during the whole day. Illegal armed groups were also using small arms and 82 mm mortars near Zaytseve and Pisky. Heavy machine guns and grenade launchers were used to attack strongholds near Nevelske and Kamianka.

In Luhansk direction, situation escalated in Novozvanivka, where enemy fired grenade launchers, machine guns and 82 mm mortars.

In order to decrease enemy attacks, Ukrainian Armed Forces opened return fire.
