Since the beginning of the current day, militants have twice violated the ceasefire in Donbas, using grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns. It was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.
Thus, the occupants started firing at Ukrainian positions near Pisky settlement, using hand anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
"Units of the Joint Forces conducted sufficient defensive actions with unprohibited weaponry with the purpose of suppression of hostile armed activity,” the message reads.
No casualties among the Joint Forces personnel have been reported.
"Our protagonists - the units of the Joint Forces - are steadfastly adhering to the ceasefire and every minute they are ready to give a decent armed response to the insidious hostilities committed by the Russian occupation forces," the statement said.
As we reported earlier, pro-Kremlin militants from the so-called self-proclaimed republics in Donbas have declared their readiness to send 19 people to Kyiv within the framework of the prisoner swap.
