ORDLO (Separated Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) militants attacked Marinka civilian areas, one civilian died as a result, as Pavlo Zhebryvsky, the Head of Donetsk Civil-Military Administration, reported on Facebook.
“A 36-year-old Marinka resident died as a result of militants’ shootings at this populated locality. As Volodymyr Moroz, the Chairman of Marinka City District Administration told me, Myhailo, that was the name of the man, who died, went out in his yard on the edge of Marinka when the militants were firing at the town from small arms. One of the bullets hit him,” Zhebryvsky noted.
He added that the doctors, who arrived on call, verified his death. At the same time, it is noted that the doctors could not take the dead as the militants were performing attacks, so the doctors had to drive off at a safe distance.
“According to the message of the Head of the region, the militants continue performing attacks at the city at the moment,” Zhebryvsky concluded.
Earlier, we reported that the Russia-backed militants attacked Toretsk, Donetsk region. The shells hit the building of a local social and psychological rehabilitation center; there were 28 children inside at the time - aged from three to 17 years old. The law enforcers evacuated the staff and the children to the safe area. The building of the center took minor damage; no casualties were reported in the attacks.
