Militants attack living blocks, school in Maryinka

Two buildings and windows of the school were damaged, no casualties

The militants in Donbas conflict zone attacked living blocks and a school in Maryinka, no casualties occurred, according to the Ukrainian side of the JCCC, as the Ukrainian Army HQ writes on Facebook.

“On August 20, at around 7 pm, the militants used rocket-propelled grenade launchers and small arms to attack living blocks of Maryinka. As a result of the grenade launcher exploding in the air, two outbuildings were damaged in Heroiv Chornobyla street. The walls of the building are scraped, the roofs are damaged. Luckily, no casualties among civilians occurred”.

Later on, at around 9 pm, windows of the local school #2 were broken with 12,7-mm shells.

As it was reported earlier, the militants used incendiary weapons, and burned down civilian houses in Zaitseve. The militants also intentionally set fields and woods on the front line on fire, also burning down several houses. In these provocative attacks, it’s the civilians who suffer.
