Militants attacked a mosque in Donetsk, and then they blamed Joint Forces Operation unit for that, as Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
“On June 4, 2019 under the information received from OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, Russia’s armed formations in Donetsk region accused Armed Forces of Ukraine of shooting at Donetsk mosque,” the message reads.
As it was reported, on June 4 no attacks at Ukraine’s positions from Donetsk were performed. Ukrainian units did not respond.
It is noted that if one analyzes it, the direction of shooting and actual distance from the mosque to the nearest position of Ukraine’s Armed Forces which was 5,5 km, and maximal distance of shooting from 82mm mortar (4 km), including existing dispersion during shooting, one concludes that it is impossible to hit the dome of the mosque with four mines.
“Considering insolence of the occupants, there are reasons to state that another shooting was planned in advance, when a lot of people were in the mosque. As a result, one can conclude that Russian occupational administration tried to discredit Ukraine’s Armed Forces before the people of Donbas and its Muslim part,” the HQ informed.
