Russian armed formations and their mercenaries in Donbas continue attacking the disengagement area near Zolote, Luhansk region, as the Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Centre reported, referring to OSCE SMM report.
According to the report, on December 16, while monitoring Zolote-2, the observers heard 30 explosions that they considered mortar fire and mortar shells explosions.
Besides, they recorded about 40 bursts of heavy machine guns, all of them within 60 kilometers southward. According to the mission's observers, all the attacks were performed at the division line's section near Zolote.
“Such provocative actions of the Russian occupation troops confirm the complete violation of Minsk Agreements, the downright unwillingness to stand by the commitments made and withdraw its forces and means on a specific disengagement area near Zolote,” the message says.
