Militant of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic Roman Dzhumayev was shot dead in Mariupol. It happened in the apartment where he lived. Website of Mariupol reported this.

According to the agency, the unknown rang at the apartment door where Dzhumayev lived and shot him point blank. Roman died before the ambulance arrived.

Seven gunshot wounds was found on the body of the militant.

Dzhumayev’s grandmother needed medical aid, his mother is at the house. investigation is ongoing in the apartment where the murder took place.

It is reported that Roman Dzhumayev was 28 years old. In 2014, he moved to the militants of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and participated in the attacks on Donetsk airport and in Debaltseve. Next year he went to Belarus, and in 2016 - to Russia. A year later, Dzhumayev tried to enter the territory of Ukraine, where he was detained by Ukrainian law enforcement.

Roman was accused of forming a terrorist group. During his last trial, the restrictive measure for Dzhumayev was changed to house arrest.
