The ‘Luhansk Energy Union’ Company prepares to shut off the Western filter station that supplies the water mostly to the cities and villages at the occupied territories of Donbas. Volodymyr Grytsai, the Director General claimed this to Gromadske Radio.

‘We need the permission from ‘Ukrenergo’ to shut off this object. We appeal to this instance during a year but we do not get the permission. The debt on this object is 5.8 million dollars. I remind that 90% of water flows at the occupied territories of Donbas’, Grytsai said.

According to him, Petrovska pump station that supplied water to the uncontrolled by Ukraine territory at the Luhansk direction was shut off on November 6.

The water supply of Pervomaisk, Brianka, Kirovsk and other cities depends on the work of the Western filter station.
