The leaders of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics allowed the militants to fire on Ukrainian military positions. The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas, Leonid Kravchuk, said there was a threat of disruption of a ceasefire. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian delegation in Telegram.
The report says that at a meeting of the TCG Kravchuk protested against the statement of the so-called "People's Militia of the DNR" that the militants were allowed to conduct warning fire to suppress the fighting points of Ukrainian soldiers.
"Position of the head of the Ukrainian delegation: we regard this statement as a threat to the unilateral withdrawal of the Russian side from the ceasefire and a threat to the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Consultations are ongoing," the delegation's press service said.
Earlier, the so-called "People's Militia of the DPR / LPR" issued an emergency statement saying that illegal combat groups were allowed to open "preventive" fire on Ukrainian positions.
On March 1, as a result of an explosion of the military car in Donbas, eight soldiers were wounded, one more was injured.
