Yevhenia Zakrevska, the lawyer and the official supporter of the families of the Heavenly Hundred stopped the hunger strike that she held on to. She posted that on Facebook.
"We stop starving, but we continue to keep an eye on the government acting according to the action plan on resuming the investigation into cases of Maidan, and we don't lose any of public attention to these cases. As soon as the public attention disappears, so does the priority for the government. And the collapse begins", Zakrevska wrote.
The lawyer admitted that now, one has to demand that the President sign the recently approved law on the re-boot of the State Bureau of Investigations, and the decree on the new structure of the State Bureau of Investigations, which features a new department that would focus on these particular investigations.
November 21, Zakrevska began to starve, demanding to resume the investigation into Maidan-related cases.
Recently, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine passed the State Bureau of Investigations all the authority to investigate these cases.
