The lawyer Emile Kurbedinov detained in Crimea may be charged of extremism and a pre-trial restriction might be chosen for him. This was reported by the journalists of 112 Ukraine TV channel Anton Naumlyuk.

“District Court of Simferopol will impose a restriction on him today. I am currently in his office; searches are conducted here by special forces soldiers in masks, carrying weapons. I’m not sure (what kind of extremist they see here – ed.). I hope the hearing will be open. Perhaps the extremism will be found on the pages of social networks, for example,” Naumlyuk said.

Kurbedinov himself is in the Anti-extremism Centre in Simferopol.

The court hearing will take place today. Kurbedinov’s rights will be defended by the lawyer Dzhemil Temishev.
