Kyiv Court of Appeal authorizes detention and arrest of pro-Russian terrorist, “the head of the Council of Ministers” of the so-called “DPR” Alexander Zakharchenko. This was reported by the press service of the Court of Appeal in Kyiv.
The permit says that this resolution of the Court of Appeal supports the public prosecution of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine on choosing the preventive measure in form of detention of separatist leader Zakharchenko in pre-trial investigation under Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is suspected of participation in “Donetsk People’s Republic” terrorist organization.
The Court has also annulled the resolution of Kyiv district that refused to satisfy the prosecutor’s motion for the arrest of terrorists’ leader.
Earlier it was reported that court authorized the detention of Yanukovych and Zakharchenko in "church case". The court also gave permission for the arrest of Valeriy Koryak - the former head of the Kyiv police.
