Russia is ready for Ukraine to renounce the Minsk agreements but warns that neither Berlin, nor Paris, nor Moscow will like such a decision. This was stated by press-secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on the air of Russia-1 TV channel, TASS reports.

"You cannot force anything, but neither Berlin, nor Paris, nor Moscow will obviously like Ukraine's renouncement of the Minsk complex of measures," Peskov said, answering questions about Russia's readiness to abandon the Minsk agreements.

In addition, he warned that if that happened, the conflict settlement process will be deprived of a negotiating base, and a new one, in the form of another document, would be extremely difficult to create.

As we reported earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the deterioration of relations between Russia and Ukraine was not connected with the annexation of Crimea.

"The fact that our relations with Ukraine have deteriorated in principle is not connected with Crimea," he said.
