Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine claimed that the humanitarian and ecological disasters appeared in Donbas due to the actions of Russia. He claimed this at the International Forum in Canada as Ukrinform reported.

‘Almost humanitarian and ecological disasters rule in Donbas due to the actions of Kremlin in that the significant number of the coal mines are flooded, the water pipes and power lines are shelled but the Russians do not react because they are involved in the smuggling, so-called ‘black’ and ‘grey’ operations in the region’, the minister said.

According to Klimkin, it is impossible to settle the situation in Donbas and other places of conflict without the coordinated countering towards the actions of Russia.

The international community should express more solidarity and impose more political pressure on Russia by the bigger amount of the sanctions.
