Now the Ukrainian Army is helping the local population to return to peaceful life

The village of Katerynivka in Luhansk region is under control of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. This was reported by the press center of Ukrainian Army’s headquarters in Facebook.

"We are informing that Katerynivka village in Luhansk region located near the line of demarcation, has been under Ukraine’s control for a long time. The servicemen of Ukrainian Armed Forces are helping the local population to resolve pressing issues and return to peaceful life," the report said.

As it was reported earlier fighters of the Ukrainian army entered the village of Novooleksandrivka, Luhansk region, which lies in the so-called gray zone of the combat zone in Donbas since 2015. According to the Ukrainian military, this act does not contradict the spirit of Minsk agreement.

Currently, there are some twenty people residing in the village, and they have no access to gas or electricity.
