Ukrainian army has started its preparations for the disengagement of forces and military equipment in Petrivske, located on the demarcation line. This was reported by the press center of Joint Forces Operation HQ.
It is emphasized that the Ukrainian side intends to withdraw its troops in area №3 - Bohdanivka - Petrivske.
Practical activities are scheduled to begin on November 8, 2019, in case the ceasefire regime is not being violated for 7 days.
Meanwhile, there are ongoing measures in the area of Zolote-4 to demine the territory: technical inspections, demining of roads and roadsides, minefield clearance are being executed. Five groups of State Emergency Service of Ukraine are involved.
On October 6, 10.4 hectares of the territory were checked and nine explosive items were removed. The mine clearance works will continue up until November 9.

“We are closely following the situation. Any report that the disengagement of forces is disrupted raises deep concern. We hope that despite the difficulties, the process will be finished, finalized,” Spokesperson of Russian President Dmitry Peskov said.
