The Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Centre (JCCC) condemned the attacks of Russian mercenaries on Petrivske, Donetsk region. This is the area where the opposing forces should be disengaged, and thus it poses a grave violation of Minsk agreements. The HQ of the JCCC reported that on Thursday evening.

"In their daily report from March 4, 2020, the OSCE SMM claims that "in the night and early in the morning, the SMM videocamera, located in Petrivske, captured two shells and eight cannon blasts on the distance about 0.5-1.5 km to the southwest from Petrivske (according to previous estimates, all attacks took place within the area of disengagement of forces", reads the message.

The staff also added that the said actions once again confirmed the unwillingness of Russia's armed formations to stop the armed conflict.

Earlier, Ukraine's military took casualties again, as Russian occupant forces continue to attack their positions in the war-torn Donbas. On March 4, one serviceman sustained a grave combat injury; Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on Wednesday.

At about 6.20 a.m., the enemy launched an offensive with the use of mounted and man-portable anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns fired on the positions of Joint Forces not far from Krymske. Next, the armed gangs fired six 82 mm mines on Ukrainian outposts near Orikhove.

In both cases, the Ukrainian army returned fire, using Minsk-allowed weapons.
