Joint Center for Control and Coordination condemns militants' shellings in Donbas region

Russian occupants shelled the positions of Ukrainian soldiers with 82 mm mines and 122 mm artillery

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) condemned mortar fire of the Ukrainian emplacements by Russian-backed mercenaries. The press office of the Joint Forces reported that

The occupants opened fire in the direction of Zaitseve, Zolote, Pavlopil, Novoluhanske and Vodyane using 82 mm mines and 122 mm artillery. 

"On October 22, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukraine's Army near Zaitseve, Pivnichne (3 shellings), Pavlopil, Novoluhanske (2 shellings) and Vodiane using 82 mm mines banned by Minsk agreements. The whole attack lasted 67 minutes. Today, on October 32, the illegal armed forces shelled the positions of Ukrainian servicemen near Vodyane settlement with 122 mm artillery, which is also banned by Minsk agreements," says the message.

The Headquarters added that such "a cynic behavior demonstrates only the enemy's wish of further exacerbation of the conflict". 

As it was reported earlier, since the beginning of the current day, occupants had carried out nine shellings at positions of Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas and used weapons of prohibited calibers.
