Japan to raise issue of sanctions against Russia at G7 Summit

Ambassador Shigeki Sumi said the restrictions are directly related to implementation of Minsk agreement

“The solution of the Ukrainian question is extremely important. The sanctions are tightly related to Minsk agreements and the annexation of Crimea. That means as long as Russia fails to fulfill Minsk agreements, as long as Crimea remains occupied, the sanctions should be extended”, the Japanese official said in the interview with 112 Ukraine TV channel.
