Investigation of the case of Ukrainian journalist Sushchenko was completed in Russia. This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to his lawyer Mark Feigin.
"We were announced about the end of investigation: the case consists of 10 volumes - procedural, operational materials. I cannot tell anymore, because in it has the status of state secret. We together with my client are now studying the second volume," Feigin said.
He added that the tactics of defense will be worked out finally with Sushchenko after acquaintance with all the materials.
"But I want to clarify that our position is the same in main issues. Sushchenko does not admit guilt, and today he again refused to give evidence against himself, referring to Article 51," the lawyer said.
As it was reported earlier Feigin awaits US resolutions on Sushchenko case. The lawyer expressed hope that Tillerson will raise the issue of illegally detained Ukrainian journalist during his the meeting with Lavrov.
