Infrastructure repairs in Donbas underway during ceasefire

Scheduled reconstruction works of the infrastructure objects in Donbas are underway during the New Year ceasefire, as the message of the Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre of Control and Coordination posted on the Facebook page of the Forces Operation HQ says.

It was specified that on January 6, repair work of the air transmission line in Katerynivka, Luhansk region was completed.

“Scheduled works were carried out in Donetsk filtering station, Avdiivka. Safe passage for the workers of the station has been provided,” the message says.

“The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre of Control and Coordination urges the occupation administration and Russian armed formations to adhere to the set ceasefire on the confrontation line and not to impede the scheduled reconstruction works,” the Joint Centre of Control and Coordination added.

Earlier, the ceasefire started on December 29, yet the militants are regularly violating it.
