The situation in the Donbas conflict zone is characterized as stable and doesn’t tend to escalation, as the Ukrainian Army HQ reported on Facebook.
In Mariupol sector, the militants used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to attack Ukrainian positions near Vodiane. In this confrontation one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another one was wounded. At night the militants used 120-mm mines to attack Novotroyitske.
In Donetsk sector, they fired with grenades at Opytne, and an enemy ICV was firing at Butovka mine.
In Luhansk sector, the attacks were more frequent. In the evening the enemy attacked Krymske with machine guns, and mines to attack Troyitske.
Overall, the militants broke the cease-fire 17 times. One Ukrainian soldier was killed, two wounded, and six injured.
The Ukrainian Army notes, that civilians in occupied territories are more inclined to protest. Using their power, the militant commanders are embezzling property of those, who left the conflict zone, when the Russian aggression started.
