'There is a united opinion in the Trilateral Contact Group and it coincides with the opinion of the president that the UN peacekeepers should be at the whole territory and firstly, at the Ukrainian-Russian border. We were offered to deploy the peacekeepers at the demarcation line to make them protect the OSCE and it means to create a new border with Ukraine', Kuchma said.

Also, he noted that the peace in Ukraine depends on the US by 90%. The politicians in Europe forgot the lessons of history and Ukraine should rely on the support of the US.
