Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, Georgiy Tuka expects that the issue of accommodation of the special mission in Donbas will be transferred from the OSCE to the UN. He said this in the air of "112 Ukraine".
He noted that the Western partners' proposals on arming OSCE observation and increasing its staff to 500-1000 people is not enough.
"It is necessary to speak openly, it is a drop in the sea, not the solution. During restoring order in Bosnia was used the personnel in an amount of 60 thousand people. I'll be honest, I mostly expect that after all, this issuewill be transferred from the OSCE to the United Nations ", - said Tuka.
He noted that the OSCE may have financial problems regarding its work in Ukraine.
"This is a very big financial burden. OSCE budget now, if I'm not mistaken, is 170 million euros, of which 100 million euros they spend to support Ukraine. And it is unlikely the money will be found. Perhaps there is a possibility that some money will come from the UN donors. I do not rule this out "- said the deputy minister.
