The hush at the front is tied with the upcoming meeting of U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin as member of the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas (TCG) Serhiy Harmash stated during the broadcast of Ukraine 24 TV channel.

“I believe that the hush is observed at the front and it is tied with the upcoming meeting of Putin and Biden. The TCG is such an isolated world, a separated platform, and the events in the TCG are not tied with the external events. It is a deliberate policy of Russia that is supported by the OSCE representatives for some reason. Not by everyone, I would like to notice,” Harmash said.

Harmash also added that the Russian representative did not say even a word during the TCG meeting. That is why it is difficult to hold talks with the Russian side, he said.

Since the beginning of the day, June 9, Russian mercenaries breached the ceasefire twice. Ukrainian military did not take any casualties during the day.
