Alexander Hug, the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine plans to meet Alexandr Zakharchenko, the Head of Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on November 23 as the press service of the OSCE reported at Facebook.
'Mister Hug will raise the issue on the security of the OSCE SMM observers. Moreover, he intends to discuss the necessity of the defense of the objects of the vital infrastructure and cases of the resistance of the SMM work, particularly the interference in the work of the cameras placed among the contact line', the message said.
Earlier it was reported that Alexander Hug will visit Donbas from November 19 until November 25. He also planned to meet Ihor Plotnytsky, the Head of Luhansk People's Republic.
The OSCE expressed the solicitude concerning the security and living conditions of the civilians. Particularly, it was noted that thousands of people were left without electricity, gas and water supply due to the damage of the main objects of the vital infrastructure. The repair works are held for a long time but there is not always the possibility to hold the technical support. OSCE urged to draw special attention to the infrastructure due to the forthcoming of the winter.
