Hnutove checkpoint resumes operation after attack

Admission of citizens is carried out as usual

Hnutove checkpoint started operating again after being attacked by the militants before, as Ukraine’s Border Guard Service press-office reported.

“Yesterday at around 9:00 the officers of Donetsk border detachment had to suspend checkpoint operations in Hnutove checkpoint. This is related to the fact that the militants have attacked the checkpoint from the anti-tank guided missiles twice (at 9:10 and 9:50) on the occupied territory…Today Hnutove checkpoint operates as usual,” the message says.

Besides, the representatives of the Service reminded that there were no injured among border guards and civilians as a result of the attack.

As it was reported, people were evacuated in time.

In total, 28,900 people and 4,100 vehicles crossed the checkpoints over the past 24 hours.
