Hnutove checkpoint could not start functioning regularly because of militants’ attacks. This was reported by the Assistant Director of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Hnutove checkpoint could not start functioning regularly today at 8:00 because Russian mercenaries don’t let anybody pass the checkpoint. Our military personnel and other services’ representatives are at the site but we cannot register vehicles because militants register neither citizens, nor vehicles,” he noted.
“Ukrainian side doesn’t contact occupant’s representatives that’s why we don’t know why they don’t let citizens pass from their side. The only thing that we know that the information they posted on their sites about the Armed Forces of Ukraine shooting and that they cannot let anyone pass because of this, is not true,” Slobodyan said.
There is no traffic jam near Hnutove checkpoint according to Slobodyan.
Other checkpoints in ATO area work regularly, he added. On the administrative border with occupied Crimea the situation is the same. There were small traffic jams on the Ukrainian-Polish border at Yagodyn checkpoint.
Earlier four wounded were reported among Ukrainian defenders during last 24 hours. The enemy shelled fired along the whole front line in Luhansk direction, nine attacks spotted, two of them from heavy weapons.
