The German Foreign Ministry calls on all parties of the conflict in Ukraine to immediately observe the agreements reached, since the situation threatens to end in complete fail of the political process. This is stated in a statement by the press secretary of the German Foreign Ministry.
"We continue to receive disturbing news from Eastern Ukraine, unfortunately not for the first time. The agreed truce is not respected, and we continue to see numerous deployments of weapons on the contact line, "the statement said.
The German Foreign Ministry recalled that in recent days, 14 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 13 were wounded, during the repeated assurances of the parties about the readiness for a truce and the withdrawal of heavy weapons.
"After a brief reduction in the number of battles, we must admit: it seems, there is not enough will of the conflicting parties for a long-term truce," the department noted.
"We urge all parties to immediately implement the agreements reached, otherwise there is the risk of intensifying the military conflict that will take more lives and the political process will be failed completely," the German Foreign Ministry said.
