Transport blockade in Donbas deployed along demarcation line led to halting coal supplies in Ukraine, threatens economic security of Ukraine and undermines economic growth. The statement of G7 countries says, according to Unian agency.

The statement reads the necessity to organize stable work of energy objects, providing Ukrainian citizens with heat and light, carrying out modernization of generating capacity as well as take number of important measures for granting energy supply for an extended period.

"Ukraine demonstrated economic growth last year. Transport blockade threatens this process and undermines energy security for millions of people. We urge all sides to find common approaches to solve these problems, unblock railway and roads to organize legal trade," the statement says.
