Full comprehensive ceasefire in Donbas takes effect

A full and comprehensive ceasefire mode took effect in the Donbas combat area on July 27, the HQ of Joint Forces Operation reported on Facebook.

"The situation in the area of Joint Forces Operation remains under control. Units of Ukraine's Armed Forces carry on to complete the actual objectives", says the message.

The day before the ceasefire began, Russian occupants went for a provocation near Novmykhailivka, Donetsk region. The enemy planted POM-2 anti-personnel mines, using anti-tank grenade launchers.

A Ukrainian serviceman was wounded on Sunday; they took him to a hospital.

Besides, on July 26, pro-Kremlin armed gangs shelled living houses in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. They fired 82 mm mortars. One of the mines hit the roof of a summerhouse, which led to a fire. Two holes from 82 mm mines were detected in the local yard. The attack did not claim any lives, and no one was wounded.

In general, on July 26, Russian militants fired on Ukrainian positions 13 times. The enemy used firearms banned by Minsk agreements.
