Russian FSB recently arrested 12 former servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Chief of Public Relations Department of Ukraine’s Army Yuzef Venskovich, reports Ukrinform.
"Recently, 12 Ukrainians, who served in the armed forces of Ukraine, were arrested by the FSB, charged with espionage, sabotage, etc. The vast majority of them were detained in the Crimea," the General Staff representative noted.
Answering if the detention of a "diversion group" allegedly headed by a serviceman of Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, Venskovich noted that the state institution does not comment on messages of fake organizations.
At the same time he noted that when thoroughly analyzing the video it’s easy to understand that this is a staged video. As an example, Venskovich noted the fact that shoes of the detained are without laces, in addition, it is clear that the arrest took place in spring, and the like.
As it was reported earlier FSB claimed to have detained Ukraine’s Security Service “agent” in occupied Crimea. It is reported that the detained person is a Ukrainian citizen Henadiy Lymeshko.
