Four million people in Ukraine or almost 9% of the population need the humanitarian aid. It is stated in the message of the official website of the UN in Ukraine that is dedicated to the forthcoming visit of Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Ursula Mueller.

It is also stated that the Humanitarian Response Plan 2017 financed only 25% of the expenses and the financing is critically not enough.

The UN cooperates with the Ukrainian authorities and so-called authorities of occupied Donbas due to the coming winter to provide the most vulnerable population among the demarcation line will everything that they need.

Earlier it was reported that Volker and Surkov discussed the project of the resolution on the UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas offered by Russia.
