Ukraine’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs commented on the most recent report about the current status of civilians who suffer consequences of the Donbas conflict. It was prepared and released by the OSCE SMM in Donbas on February 16.
The report ‘once again confirmed that Russia and the Kremlin-backed militants rudely violate human rights and the provision of Minsk agreements, the Ministry says.
The document mentions numerous destructions of the private houses and infrastructure objects, ‘which took place due to the attacks by the Russian occupant forces’, as the Ministry put it.
‘The Russian hybrid troops continued to deploy armaments and military vehicles in the inhabited areas, which was followed by the capture of administrative buildings and using rooftops of living houses as firing positions,’ the Ministry’s commentary reads.
The Ukrainian authority noted that the OSCE SMM lost some critically important points of the humanitarian agenda, specifically murders, kidnappings, illegal detention of the local residents, seizure of property and prevention of activities of the international humanitarian organizations.
